New Patients at Adjusted Life Chiropractic
If you’re visiting with us for the first time, we’d like you to know exactly what to expect at our friendly chiropractic care center. We want to provide you with a great experience so that you feel confident in having chosen our office. We’ll welcome and support you every step of the way while providing comprehensive education to help you get the most out of your care.
Your First Visit
Your first visit will take between 60 and 90 minutes. As you enter the practice, you’ll be warmly greeted by a team member, who will provide you with your new patient paperwork if you haven’t already completed it online. You’ll then be given a tour of the office so that you can see some of the things that we feature and are passionate about. These include our uniquely designed pediatric wall, community outreach area, testimonial center and X-ray imaging facility.
You’ll then be escorted to a consultation room where we’ll begin a comprehensive assessment, including
- A complete health history
- An orthopedic and neurological exam
- A thermal scan using the advanced Insight™ Subluxation Station
- An SEMG scan using the advanced Insight™ Subluxation Station
- X-rays (necessity will be determined by your scan results)
Your Second Visit
Your second visit will be a New Practice Members Orientation. This is a 30-minute individual meeting where Dr. Spencer will outline how the nervous system works, how you can best benefit from your care and he’ll deliver a report of findings. This report is a summary of the results of your examination, scan and X-ray findings.
Dr. Spencer will also provide you with his recommendations, followed by a customized care plan. You’ll then be able to receive your first gentle chiropractic adjustment.
Regular Visits
We promise you that your first two visits are the most time you’ll have to spend in the office. Once we feel that we’ve armed you with enough education about your current health and future wellness, you’ll be able to settle into a pattern of regular adjustments. Most of the time, these visits will only take between 15 to 20 minutes.
You’ll find that we sometimes engage in “table talk” during a visit. These are small conversations to help measure your progress and help you better understand the healing dynamics of your body. Your questions and concerns are always welcome. We promise to always be your biggest cheerleader as you heal from the inside out.
